On to some of the more underrated characters. 1) Nia - I'll admit, I wasn't sure I'd like her at first; but I gave her a chance and ended up being pleasantly surprised. Even though the writers dialed back her spunk and cheekiness from Season 22 onwards, she still managed to hold her own as a character, particularly in Season 24. All in all, she really doesn't deserve so much flak. 2) Madge - Now this is worldbuilding. Had Madge been reintroduced during the Brennaisance or even BWBA, she might have given the writers a chance to do more with the Skarloey Railway, instead of constantly falling back to the NWR. 3) Hector - It's always nice to see trucks working with the engines, rather than against them - just imagine Hector sharing an ep with Bradford! 4) Victor - He really is a unique character, and you come to appreciate him even more after seeing his backstory in Blue Mountain Mystery - makes you wonder why the writers didn't expand upon his relationship with Luke, or even have him
